Apostle Alonzo T. Gay Sr.

​

Apostle Alonzo T. Gay, Sr. is the Founder and overseer of Acts Ministries Inc., of Eagle Lake, Florida. He has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has an Apostolic and Prophetic anointing on his life and is used by God in the gifts of healing, inner healing, deliverance and others signs, wonders, and miracles. He started a quarterly Spiritual Warfare Seminar in February of 2002. Because of his gift of Prophetic Counseling, he has witnessed God restore many wounded marriages in the Body of Christ. Apostle Alonzo has also conducted schools of prophecy for many years under his pastorate.  He has many sons and daughters in ministry.

Apostle Alonzo utilizes his teaching and training gifts to equip and activate the people of God in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He develops leaders and cultivates team ministry. He has traveled extensively both nationally and internationally. As he ministers, he brings forth impartation, revelation, and activation to many in the Body of Christ, especially those of the five-fold ministry.

Apostle Gay is the Senior Executive Overseer of Destiny Christian University LLC of Eagle Lake, Florida. This is a degree granting institution servicing over 35 Destiny School of Ministry campuses in the United States and abroad. Apostle Alonzo holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Theology and Biblical Studies. He holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity through Destiny Christian University, LLC. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries under the Apostleship of Bishop Jerry and Dr. Sherill Piscopo of Roseville, Michigan. He has been appointed by them to serve as Apostolic Overseer for the churches and ministries of the Southern states of the Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries.

Apostle Gay provides spiritual oversight and mentorship for many Pastors and ministers throughout the United States.  He has birthed out of Acts Ministries satellite campuses in the states of Florida and Tennessee.

He co-labors in the gospel with his wife Dr. Sandra R. Gay, and they are the proud parents of seven children, nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
